This set of videos captures the Visiting Seminar Series of Professor Juan Feliu from University of Alicante, Spain to CABES at Cornell University. These are The Feliu Lectures in Electrochemistry. Electrochemistry is the science of batteries. It is the science of metal plating, aging and corrosion. It is the science of hydrogen fuel cells, or redox flow batteries, and other devices, familiar and exotic.
Presented to a technical audience, these talks focus on fundamentals through to applications of electrochemistry. Feliu focuses the talks on single crystal surfaces, as these provide the ideal platform for explaining and demonstrating the fundamentals of electrochemical phenomena, and how these are translated into application in many of the electronic devices we have around us on a daily basis.
