CABES is an Energy Frontier Research Center (EFRCs), established and supported by a grant from the US Department of Energy, Office of Science, Basic Energy Sciences.  CABES is one of a network of EFRCs from across the United States, each of which is advancing understanding of a specific energy need.

New York State, Empire State Development, is generously supporting the work of CABES through a matching grant that focuses on accelerating and augmenting the impact of the scientific results generated by the center.  Helping New York State companies leverage the work of CABES is a particular program enabled by this support.

The New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NSYERDA) supports CABES mission of advancing the science of clean energy conversion devices, such as fuel cells and electrolyzers.  The NYSERDA Clean Energy Fund seeks to leverage the positive, long-term impacts of CABES.
