Understanding electrocatalysis under alkaline conditions requires both development of model and optimized materials systems and analytical evaluation of those systems under realistic operating conditions.  The CABES Methods team is developing and applying new operando studies for evaluating structure, dynamics, decay mechanisms and reaction pathways of these systems under electrochemical control.
